The Unseen Temple

The Unseen Temple
Author Unknown

There is an Oasis, bright and fair;
The Unseen Temple is over there,
That Perfect Temple, where all is light,
Where there is no darkness, there is no night;
When Allah calls our friends obey,
And fold their tents and steal away
To the land where the crystal waters flow,
Where the beautiful Palms of Allah grow.

That land must, indeed, be wondrous fair,
Since our brothers choose to linger there
While we pitch our tents in the desert here;
But we do not sorrow, we do not fear.
Yet a little while and our race is run,
And we'll steal away with the setting sun
To the land where the crystal waters flow,
Where the beautiful Palms of Allah grow.
